A big weekend of speedway is planned for Kalkee’s Blue Ribbon Raceway this weekend. The annual speedway carnival will be conducted Saturday and Sunday with over 100 drivers from across Victoria and South Australia racing.
The Wingless Sprint Cars have become a regular event at the carnival and will provide some action packed racing with 31 drivers nominated for the weekend.
Motorsports fans from across the state the came to witness Horsham Motor Sports Club member, Mark McDonald, take the Victorian Limited Sportsman championship from the defending champion Mick Rizzoli of Ballarat.

Mark Lincoln has been named Victorian AMCA champion after winning the feature race on Saturday night.
About 350 speedway fans descended on Kalkee’s Blue Ribbon Raceway to witness the running of the 2015 AMCA Victorian Title. The race meeting drew 25 of the best AMCA drivers from across Australia to battle it out for the title.
