Horsham Motor Sports Club is grappling with money problems and is looking for a Good Samaritan to ensure the future of Horsham’s new $40,000 speedway.

The ‘Samaritan’ is an organisation, group or person who will help the club by lending money at a low interest rote.

Club officials said yesterday: “It will be the city of Horsham which gains from the speedway at Dooen – not us.”

“The speedway will bring many people to Horsham. “Those visitors will need places to buy food and other wares, and somewhere to stay. “The speedway will bring money into Horsham.”
