Horsham’s Blue Ribbon Raceway will roar into life this weekend when the 2012 Victorian Formula 500 Title invades the 450 metre Kalkee venue. With 35 nominations received for the two night event indications are that this will be one of the toughest Victorian Titles in its 49 year history.
An electric field of Mini Sprinters took to the Horsham track on Friday and Saturday night. After some early doubt about the rain officials were very impressed with the fast track. Heat winners were scattered amongst a few, including Peter Robotham, Graham Knuckey and Nick Hall. Also consistently in the top three were Nathan Squires and Mark Harington.
