Ellis, in the Ho74 machine, was awarded club champion, with 612 points, at the end of season dinner on Saturday night. Close behind was street stick driver Nigel Quick, Ho88, sitting on a solid 609 points for the season.
Third place was taken out by Frank Chrystie, who drove of the Ho56 truck consistently through out the season.
Track conditions added to the numerous rollovers which kept the dedicated crowd on their toes.
Vintage Hot Rods graced the track, showing off cars up to 30 years of age, including a cut down HJ Holden.
Best presented of the weekend was taken out by Ian Winslade in the Mildura number 21 machine.
