Bendigo driver Kevin Clark out performed top local racers to secure the vacant Three Litre Title in heated battles at Blue Ribbon Raceway, Kalkee on Saturday night.
Vacated by four time champion Will Lamb, the scene was set for a night of tight racing for the coveted number 1 to be placed on the winning car for the next year.
Drivers from throughout the state converged on the “track in the paddock” north of Horsham with local heroes Ellis, Honeyman and Gerlach wanting to keep the title in local hands for the first time in many years.
Blue Ribbon Raceway will be the scene of another Victorian State Title when the Three Litre Sedans contest the event on March 3rd.

Blue Ribbon Raceway roared to life on Saturday night for the return of the 360 Allstars Sprintcar series
supported by Limited Sportsman, Modified Productions, V8 trucks, Three Litres and Vintage Hotrods.
Horsham Motorsports Club members worked tirelessly during the week putting thousands of litres of water into the racing surface, to give the high powered Sprintcars a track that would produce great wheel to wheel racing and that proved to be a job well done.
Horsham Motorsports Club will be hosting the 7th round of the Mainline Dynolog Dynomometers 360 Sprintcars All Star Challenge this Saturday night at Blue Ribbon Speedway in Horsham.
With six completed rounds in the books the winner has been mother nature in three of the rounds and the teams are looking for the weather to play its part and provide the usual fast track at the Kalkee facility and allowing for clean multiple groove racing.
